I was just looking at the website for the upcoming Race to Alaska. I see a CLC Skerry is listed amongst the competitors. 750 miles of Pacific coastline, cold water, killer whales, Sasquatches throwing things at you. That’s going to be epic. Good luck and I pray all the competitors stay safe!

John Guider is racing in the Skerry Raid, a decked-in and considerably modified version of the standard open Skerry.
The R2AK race committee should get an award for their accurate, lively, and inspired description of John Guider.
Given the variety of serious racing machines competing in the R2AK, the official race tracker shows him doing really well for a boat with a 12-foot waterline!

That boat and the builder have already done The American Great Loop together so I cant think of anyone more prepared. Ill be watching via the tracking
