Eastport nesting pram, panel #1, rabbet or no rabbet?
Hi,
I'm building the eastport nesting pram from stratch.
I've transfered everything to plywood and cut out all the peices, I'm about to put in th rabbets. However the instruction book says that "The bottom panel and #1 panel are not rabbeted", however the plans say to put a rabbet in there, and the pictures of the construction process have one in as well.
It seams like I should put them in. Am I right?
I have version 2.1 5/2011 of the instruction manual if it helps
Cheers,
James

James,
i went to look at my boat and I did rabbit the number 1 plank. Also I had a note to myself in my plans booklet confused about this and referred to the full size plan sheet to resolve the issue.
Rabbit plank #1.

I built this from plans version 2.3 1/2014. Page 17 ...rabbit along the lower edge or panels 2,3,4.
This is what I did and it makes sense as you look at the plans.
