I am preparing to epoxy & glass the inside of the deck and hull. My question's are; Do I epoxy and fiberglass completely to the beveled edges? Then redrill the holes and rebevel the edges to remove excess epoxy? Or should I use 1/2 " tape to mask the holes and edges, to keeping them clean.
thanks,
Chucko

RE: Shearwater 17 epoxy & glass
It's that "cured to rock" stage that I was concerned about. I'd hoped to leave the bevels un-retouched. I'll refer to your pictures and instructions many times......Beautiful boat dude....simply Beautiful!!
Thanks,
Chucko

Glass completely to the edges and redrill holes. Your glass will be hanging over the edge actually, use a razor to trim right up to the edge when the epoxy is green, dry but not cured to rock, easiest to do it this way.
