I've just begun this boat and I noticed that the "string" measurements for the dry-fit planks don't match those on page 2 of the plans. The plans appear to be based on scarf-joints and not puzzle joints. I'm wondering if the puzzle joints are at different locations than the scarf-joints.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks, Keith

No longer necessary to bother with the string-line business in puzzle-joined boats. The puzzle joints make the planks self-aligning. So you can skip the string-line measurements entirely.
