I just started to mix a batch of epoxy and my pump sputtered and the flow of epoxy stopped. I have plenty of volume and ambient temp in my basement is unchanged (about 67F). I unscrewed the cap and found the resin to have a slushy consistency.
Any suggestions/ideas welcome.
Thanks.

RE: Epoxy is "slushy"
This can happen to the resin and can be reversed by heating it up. I have used a plastic kitty litter bucket (two 1 gal. jugs are a perfect fit) and very hot water to "melt" the slush. As far as I know this has no ill effects and warm epoxy is less viscous which helps when wetting out FG cloth.

Your resin has crystallized. It happens. The fix is quick, easy, and permanent: immerse your jug(s) of resin in a pail of hot water. The resin will return to normal clarity and viscosity.
