Has anyone designed a removable platform to place your feet on when rowing a skerry? I am looking for ideas, plans, and suggestions. Thanks.

I designed and built custom floorboards that incorporated removable foot pegs. I also made a third that I attached my fishingrod holder to.

Would you be studying the Thames boatman article in Wooden Boat?
I cobbed a temporary rig toghether to try it out. Its just a board with a couple of braces to go against the bulkhead. I was thinking of maybe incorporating the cleats on plank 1 with perhaps something on plank 2 to hold a removable board. He said you need to push with the balls of your feet.
check that article it was last issue I think just got a new one yesterday.
