Locating Bulkheads on the Eastport Pram

I'm ready to stitch my center bulkhead into place in anticipation of flipping the hull and filling the laps with epoxy.  Is there an accurate way of measuring the location of the bulkhead?  I tried a tape measure and plumb bob, but that found the approximate location on the centerline of the bottom, not along the sides where the bulkead actually makes contact with the hull.  BTW, my hull is just about a 1/4" longer than the published 7' 9" LOA.

Thanks,

Chris

RE: Locating Bulkheads on the Eastport Pram

Hey guys, I really need some help here.  I've glued the forward and aft bulkheads where they fit, but they both fit 1.5" - 2" forward of the plan measurements.  Instead of cutting new bulkheads, I'll put them where they fit, but when I go to locating the mast step, I'll need to adjust accordingly to not put too much lee helm into the boat.  Does that make sense or am I making things too complicated so butt the mast step right up against the bulkhead?

Thanks,

Chris
