?outgassing on skerry interior?
crazy weather lately;
i just glassed the interior of my skerry. it looks pretty amazing except for 2-3 dime-sized spots, mostly around the garboard seam, where there appears to be some delamination.
they are minor and look cosmetic only (they will not cause any structural compromise).
to fix them i would just cut them out and re-cover with epoxy?
just curious what others have done;

by the way there's my blog.
thanks in advance

if they are dime-size....just cut out and recover with epoxy....you should be fine.
fwiw....probably not outgassing. outgassing is from gas coming out of the wood into wet epoxy. this is something that happens when you epoxy and during the cure you have rising temperature that makes the wood 'gas out'. outgassing looks like tiny champagne-like bubbles in the epoxy.
most likely, you just had a couple airbubbles where the cloth did not fully wet out or for some reason, did not want to lie flat trapping some air.
