I am plan (no kit) building a 14 in Nova Scotia. Just tacked the hull. Next step is fillet. Do I fillet both sides of the bulkheads? Seems like weight saving would say one side is adequate...
A small fillet on both sides adds just a few ounces of weight. What you really have to watch is epoxy pooling in the bottom of the hull when you seal the inside.
