Has anyone else built a Coot (Nick Schade's 8 foot pram) with a sailing rig? Mine sails great in up to moderate winds but develops lee helm in higher winds and won't point to windward well. I'm thinking of changing the center of lateral resistance (CLR) and sail's center of effort (CE) relationship by adding 2 external strakes forward of the daggerboard (like the Eastport Pram). Would that work? Is there an easier way?
