I am building the spars for the lug rig on the skerry. I have scarfed them to length (thanks clc staff for letting me see your scarf jigs) and now am considering the best direction to trim the ends. I think I want to trim the scarf joint to be narrower vrs making the wood at the beginning of the scarf thinner as this would cut down on the overall length of the scarf as you take the outside of the join's wood away...if that makes sense.
Also, does anyone have any pictures to share on the rigging of the lug on the skerry.
Thanks,
Pat
