I have completed my WD12 Hybrid and purchased a set of floatation bags from CLC, but hope I don't have to find out why I need them. Problem is I made no accommodation in the construction process to afix them to the boat. Thought about using glass cloth to epoxy D-rings to the inside of the hull, then using zip-ties to attach the bags. Would appreciate any other options. Thanks for your help.

RE: Attaching Floatation Bags
OK, so linking via a picture seems to be busted now. The forum software brings up a link to the thumbnail instead of the link target. Here's the link to the larger picture:

And here's the link showing how the pieces are attached to the boat:

Thanks Laszlo. Another simple. elegant solution. I started my build last October and I cannot remember how many times your posts, whether in response to my question or someonwe elses, kept me out of trouble. Really appreciate it.

You can make wooden D-rings that are plenty strong from 1 1/4" hardwood dowels. Then you can just bed them in epoxy/woodflour putty without having to mess with glass cloth.
Here's the "hardware" I made for mu WD12 invisible hatch hold-downs. That's a pair of scissors on the left for scale. Click on the pictire to enlarge it.
