I posted this to honour those who went before me. Studying their photos helped and inspired me. Now you can see how not to do it.

Thanks All.

RE: Chester Yawl "DEVA" launched.

Hi, Chip,

I just visited your flicker site.  You should be very proud of yourself, sir.  You did a very nice job.  She's a lovely boat.  You say that you don't know what to do with yourself.  I took my just completed Eastport Pram for her first sail today. But I know what to do with MYself: I'm gonna build another boat.  Again, congratulations on a job well done.

Excellent job.  Shes a real looker!

Great job! I thought for a moment that you had a shmutz on your paint. Turns out that it was on my screen.

Seems that you already know what to do with yourself - - Enjoy her.

I liked the eagle.

Deva is absolutely beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing this slide show. I'm sure it will pay forward the inspiration you found earlier, and then some. You ought to consider submitting the boat to the WoodenBoat "Launchings" page (http://www.woodenboat.com/boat-launchings).

If you wouldn't mind, we'd love to be able to borrow a couple of these shots to share a little more publicly.

Thanks again -- Nancy

Thanks for your kind comments. It is as much a pleasure to row as it was to build and is to look at.

Mike.
