kaholo paddlers

im new to sup and would like some advice on where to palce my feet on the kaholo 14 right now my toes are about up to where the puzzle joint meets the shear  and at the outside edges of the pads

you can move around a bit to find the sweet spot.  Depending on how agressive you want to paddle and the wind and chop conditions.  But, pretty much you want to be in the center so you keep the nose in the water and not sink the tail too much.  As far as width of your stance, again where you feel comfortable and most stable.  Usually a little wider at first, when you get good you will be able to stand sideways (as in a surfing stance) and paddle they are that stable.  you will be able to make the board turn better too by moving your feet.  So in other words, your feet are never in the exact same spots.  a few inches of adjustments is all it takes to change the balance and after a few days of paddling you will get the hang of it.  Its really easy. especially on flat water.
