The discussion on using alternative power for the Peeler Skiff got me thinking ....what if you used old bicycle parts to power it? The seat would be adjustable for viewing over the bow, the thumb operated handlebar bell would satisfy the Coast Guard requirement for a signaling device, etc. I believe it's a winner on all counts. Feel free to modify your Peeler now - or wait until CLC offers this modification in the future. Training wheels might help stability somewhat.
