Hello all! I'm building 17lt and had a question in regards to deck beam lamination and cut out. Can I just cut out my deck beam pieces with a 16" radius lay them flat and laminate? This seams easier than building a jig. Anyone done this? Thanks!

Everyone who's built from the kit did it that way. It works fine.

I'm thinking they wouldn't be structurally strong as the other method is. Maybe laminate a strong 16 radius jig, THEN form your deck beams from that.
