I'm building a sw sport hybrid. How important is it to fill the weave on the underside of the deck, in the areas away from the contact areas of the cockpit? Most sites suggest it should be filled, but I've also read accounts of wetting out only to reduce the weight. How much extra strength do the fill coats deliver? I haven't seen data either way.
