Help locating a Photo Journal of a Kayak

Hi,

I found a photo journal of a build of an unusual strip built kayak. This kayak had the strips on the hull running perpendicular to the usual long axis orientation of strips on the kayak, i.e. they were intstalled running from shear to shear. The deck was done conventionally (legthwise).  Unfortunately, I did not bookmark it and have lost the thread.  It showed an interesting way to bend the strips on a jig after steaming the strips and building on a skin of thin wood.  The author based his design on an antique boat he saw at the canoe museum in Peterborough, Ontario (Canada).  if you have seen this thread, could you please send a link?

Thanks so musch.

Rob
