Stitching Shearwater 17?

This is my first CLC boat and I am currently stitching a Shearwater 17 and I have come across an issue that is not discussed in the boat plan book. I have numerous pieces with little "nubs or horns" on them. Please look at the picture below.

These little nubs on the edges of the panels are not allowing my panels to line up correctly and I have not noticed any comments or notes in the planes that say to remove these pieces via sawing, hand-plane or sanding. Please help!

RE: Stitching Shearwater 17?

Just hack them off with your block plane. I think they are there to hold the parts in allignment when they are cut with the CNC machine back at CLC. Dave
