The next yellow boat?

Yesterday at our paddling club we had a surprise visitor, Aleksander Doba, who just completed paddling across the Atlantic. His website is here...

Our club (Yonkers Paddling and Rowing Club) is very into homebuilt boats. Aleksander was very interested in my Shearwater and thru his interpreter asked lots of questions. Here's a pic of him trying out a SOP...

Phew, for a split second I thought this was a shot of Aleksander completing his Atlantic crossing! No matter how you spell it that would have been a tough journey standing up!

On the other hand, even the TSA would have to accept that he wasn't smuggling anything in on his person.
