Small Patch of fiberglass cloth showing through!
On my 17LT, built in 2007, I now have two spots (each spot only 1" in diameter) on the hull where I can see the weave of the glass. It isn't super obvious and can only be seen if the boat is on the roof rack in bright sunlight. I can't feel the glass. There is definitely epoxy over it and at least 6 coats or varnish. Is it possible to sand down those spots and add more epoxy to cover the weave, then rebuild my finish layers? Thanks! Tim Clark

Tim...I had the same situation last year....here are the replies from the archives: http://www.clcboats.com/forum/archives/thread/85694.html
I just left mine alone. You really can't se them unless the light is just right and you tilt your head a certain way!
Take care.
