Any body have a true final weight of their sasafrass 16? I have not even glassed mine yet and it is over 65 pounds, I used Hydro-tek ply, but that should only make it about 5 lbs. heavier. Gunwales, seats and thwart were installed when I carried it out of the shop. Boy it seemed heavy, about what I expected the finish weight to be. About how much more weight will the epoxy, fiberglass, varnish and paint add? Any comments appreciated.
