I have a CLC17 and hve paddled it some.  It now has been worn down to the wood on the Bow and stern.  I am thinking of sanding and re glassing it, then applying the graphite to it.   What is the best procedure when dealing with the painted surfaces?  Does the graphite have to be mixed with another medium, such as paint, etc.?  Thanks, Rod
