I have seen on sites that staples sont make a difference when epoxy covers the hole of the staples
I wanted to know because I was going to hold a board in place on my yacht tender to dry fit the boards

It's true... most, well many, strip builders use staples to hold their strips in place the glue drys. Should be fine on your boat as well.
