If you use the standard retainers that come with the kit, you don't need anything. Once you rotate the wooden clips the foam will pop the hatch up and you can just lift it off. If you use internal hold-downs, you'll need a loop, a finger hole, a knob, etc. Use whichever you prefer, it's your chance to get creative.
