Night Heron Hybird build question
I have tacked the hull and am getting ready to fillet my seams. I am assuming I should lay a strip of glass over the fillets but it does not say to do so in the manuel. I am working off my experience building the SW 17 S & G. Seems to me I should but manuel is not clear about it. Thanks, Mark

The construction on the Night Heron differs from the Shearwater in regards to taping the fillets. You will be covering the entire interior with a layer of 4 oz rather than taping in the fore and aft compartments.

Hi Mark,
The only S&G kayak I have built is a Wood Duck. So I am no expert, but I can not imagne not glassing the fillets. It sure won't hurt anything to just go ahead and do it.
