I am looking o purchase a C17 kit this next week and I want to graphite the bottom of it. To save on weight and time I was thinking of after applying the first coat of epoxy to adhere the fiberglass to the deck to use the graphite epoxy mix to finish filling the weave. If not is there away to not have to put on 3 fill coats and then 2 coats of graphite mix?

Jason,
Go with the first coat, as you say, then fill the weave with epoxy/microballoon mix (1 coat) and finish off with 2 coats graphite/epoxy. Anytime you're not finishing bright, epoxy/microballoons are a much better choice for filling the weave than straight epoxy - lighter and cheaper.
