Sectional Sea Island Sport Kayak?
My Dad has very limited starage at his appartment but likes sit on top kayaks. I would like to build a Sea Island Sport Kayak to leave at his place. He lives across the road from a lake. Is it feasable to build a three piece Sea Island Sport Kayak?

The only way it would work is if you made bulkheads fore and aft of the cockpit, doubled them up and made the cuts there. The SIS doesn't come with them, the cockpit is self bailing and the rest of the hull is open from bow to stern. Theoretically it's possible.
