Just put my chester yawl in the water last saturday and by the end of the holiday weekend managed to put a couple of nice dings in the gunnel...( finished bright with varnish (interlux schooner for 4 coats and then a finish coat of satin). The ding goes into the wood a good 1/4".
What's the best way top repair this? I really just want to protect the wood/expoxy, not looking for perfection here as I am sure as the season progresses there will be more.
Thanks-
Peter
