It's equally important to clean up the excess epoxy slavishly.    We removed each clamping block in turn so that we could clean up every bit of squeezed-out epoxy with a plastic spreader and with a rag and denatured alcohol.    Clip the trim pieces flush with the transoms once they've cured.
