father and son

Can anyone recommend a good kayak kit I can put together with my ten year old son? He's very excited about this idea and I want to make it work for him. I built a stitch and glue Cape Charles about a dozen years ago and it's still fairly serviceable, although somewhat battered. However, I didn't have a kit, just a good buddy who knew a hell of a lot more about boat building than I do. I want a good kit to make a beautiful stitch and glue kayak. Can I do this for about $750? That's all we can afford if we're going to do it this summer. Any advice would be much appreciated! Cheers Neil
