Filling scarf joints

I am just about ready to glass the hull of my MC16. I have noticed low spots on all of my scarf joints,due I guess to not enough squeeze out during assembly or just the shape of the joint. Will those spots be automatically filled when I glass the hull or should I level them out with some thickened epoxy then sand flush?
