hex-boron nitride

You can use hex boron nitride to create a white bottomed kayak. I used it on the bottom of my Waters Dancing Lightning 17 to good effect. HBN is called the white graphite. You can get it online. Buy the cheapest stuff. One pound gives you enough for a few kayaks. Apply 5 coats of the stuff using ~10% v/v to get good lubrication.
