Now that I have eaten my lunch, and am thinking a little more clearly...

It probably matters very little where these small cracks are, provided that you fill the cracks thoroughly with silica thickened epoxy. When I mentioned the sheer stress, I was thinking in terms of an open boat, not a decked San O.

It is a good idea to get an answer from CLC or another San O builder.
