Jimmy Skiff goof
Posted by bill Serle on Jan 2, 2008
I joined the bottom panels, side panels and transom today with fillets topped with 2 runs of fiber glass tape and used the epoxy to coat the bottom. So far so good BUT discovered that when joining the large panels I used thickened epoxy without mixing in a little Cabo-sil. AM I IN TWOBLE???
The joints seem perfectly strong and were clamped, nailed and weighted while curing.
