glassing inside kayak

hello i'm at the glassing stage of my first kayak a ches 17lt and am wondering about the merits of also glassing the interior,as i've already put 2 coats of epoxy on the inside what weight would be added by the extra glass and epoxy.Would like to know what you think both for and against.Thanyou in advance Al.p.s. this is such a great forum especially for absolute novices as myself i look at my hull sitting there and can't believe i built such a thing of beauty cheers
