The only one of those I've paddled is my WR 18. I don't know that it's that much faster than your present boat. If you want more speed look at the Pax 18. I was in a race with one of those, a couple of WR 18's and a dozen various kayaks and the Pax smoked us all. I'll be building a strip version one of these days for racing and workouts.
