Re: Using Strongback
Posted by Dave Kennedy on Nov 26, 2007
Most S & G kits contain both the permanent AND the removable bulkheads to help allign the planks. The Bear mountain Enterprise ( a S & G) requires all these bulkheads to be first fastened to a strongback of some sort .
Would using a strongback setup for other S & G kits ( Pygmy, CLC, Waters Dancing ) help the panel allignment.... or just slow the construction down ??
