Gary...if you clamp them up in this fashion, they should pull straight and your nose block will sit fine. I did have about an eighth of an inch under-hang on my coaming at the carlin bottom edge where it finally met the "V" at the nose block but you can't see it and it tapers off to nothing a short ways back. The coaming bottom becomes flush with the bottom edge of the carlin.
