MC16

I'm about to begin my MC16. I was expecting glass to come for the inside but apparently not. The book I read illustrating the MC16 construction did glass the inside. Is it recommended to glass the inside? If so, is just the deck area enough? I read somewhere it's only needed if you're in a sandy area, but if I don't glass, I'm wondering how the inside deck area looks with just the 2 epoxy coatings??? I'd rather not order the glass if its felt not to be necessary. Thanks Tom
