That's what I did to any bubble I saw - usually where air was trapped in a space below the fiberglass, and none of those bubbles were as big as the one you're describing.

I used syringes and needles from Lee Valley.

You have to drill two holes, at opposite ends of the bubble. You inject in one, and the other is to let the air out. You can keep injecting watching the new epoxy flow all the way to the other hole and start to come out, and then you know it's filled.
