Duck stern clamp-vs-strap

I had problems with the stern and bow areas of the bottom panel bowing out. I never could get the right clamp, tension, placement...So I moved on to the deck. Long had the idea of a strap around the stern but did not think it would work. Til it dawned on me to run the strap between the bottom and side panels. Pulling in the bottom panel exactly where it needed. As much as it needed. I love it. Took about 2 min. to get the perfect fit. The cheaper the strap the better, being thinner.
