Re: Wood Duck 12

This brings up an interesting point. When I started my kayak I made a point to write with a pencil on each piece what it was and also bow or stern on each end. I also looked at each part and determined which would be the inside and outside. This was determined by any defects or weird look in the grain. Once the kayak is stitched and glued together light sanding removed all the pencil marks. Being that the wood duck comes in a kit the first thing I would do when I received it would be to mark all the pieces according to the sketch Kim has. Just my 2 cents.
