Finishing Hatches

Well I'm now ready to make my hatches. I have cut them out carefully, added the hatch spacers and a sill. I'm making the flush type of hatches held in place with bungee cords from inside. I need to round the hatches and want to know what way everyone has made hatches. I see some people add rounded support gussets to the underside. Other epoxy another piece of plywood to the underside while sitting on fixture to get the correct shape. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
