low volume hull and tippi

... Hmmm ... I hadn't pondered this point, before ...

LeeG, are you saying/implying that (given the proverbial "all elese being equal") the higher volume 'freighter' boats tend to be more stable (i.e. less "tippy") than lower-volume day cruisers?

This interests me because I HAD been thinking that beam width and, maybe, hard vs. soft chine defined stability vs. 'tippy' designs ... as opposed to, simply, interior volume.
