Re: filling staple holes

I was assuming staple holes inflicted by an Arrow T-50 or something like that which leaves 2 small holes. At the same time I must admit to never having stabbed 4mm okoume with an Arrow T-50, only cedar strip so far, so I can only guess at the holes it would leave in the ply. I'll say use a light sandable thickener, microballoons, micro-light, to do staples and whatever gaps holes depressions you have, and leave the rock-hard woodflour to the fillets just in case a glob escapes notice when you swipe a staple hole with that evil mix. I'm building a Ches 18 at this time for a friend, I'm gonna try to have him go for a white hull/varnish deck
