Re: i want to paint my ka

I am painting my boat with a two part brushable polyurethane, Interlux Perfection. It reqires a totally fair hull and the use of a two part primer which is a high build sandable primer. That is going on to a microballon faired surface. It's a lot of work, but the results can be worth it. The paint is harder and tougher than gelcoat, and should not need to be recoated for a long time. The main reason I decided on this course is that after the paint has fully cured it'll be as hard as it's going to get, whereas a one part enamel takes months.
