Don't take any shortcuts on buying racks. I had a Yakima cradle strap break and in the ensuing 65 mph disaster, I lost my Pax 19.5 and Chesapeake triple. Thank goodness the boats are stout. The Pax had 2 small holes that were easily patched, the triple has taken me 2 years and is now decked with 1/4" x 1 3/8" red cedar and old growth redwood (salvaged fron a 120 year old water tank). I love the racks but the straps were showing signs of fraying and dryrot. I now double strap the front cradles, and replace my straps every couple of years. Good luck.
