Re: Wood Duck for kids?

I know the gentleman in the picture with the boy. He's pretty slim and the boy is only 3 years old. From my experience in a Wood Duck 12, I'd say that they're pretty much at the high end of what's possible, and probably only for short periods.
It's not just the adult having to sit to accommodate the child on or between his legs and limiting his strokes so as not to brain the kid, it also how long can the child stay comfortable with little or no back support while hanging onto the coaming. I don't see this as being fun for hours at a time. But it for short rides it should be a blast and the Duck has the stability and capacity to make it safe, as well as fun.
