Don't cut the coaming hole before attaching the deck. If you have a kit, a little bit of the opening has been cut, but it is not to size. This is to allow for the shifting of the deck a little as it is put on. Basically, the coaming will sit on both of the deck beams. After the deck is attached figure out where the coaming needs to be.
